Employment Law

Employment is a constantly changing area and requires effective informed legal advice. There are very strict time limits in relation to many employment disputes, and if you have any queries, you must seek advice without delay.

To seek redress for unfair dismissal, you can bring your complaint to an Industrial Tribunal, and we are happy to represent you at this. Unfortunately the present law does not allow the successful party to recover legal costs from their opponent, therefore we try to be particularly sensitive to Clients' concerns about the costs of bringing a case before the Tribunal.

If you are discriminated against on unlawful grounds, we can represent you at the appropriate Tribunal. In some cases, you can receive the backing of one of the Commissions that deal in the area of law in question. We can advise you in relation to this when the issues in your case are clarified.

We are also able to offer advice and representation in matters such as redundancy, harassment, contracts of employment, transfers of undertakings, and other employment matters.

It is important to note that our national employment law continues to be influenced by evolving European Law, and it is essential that you seek legal advice immediately.
