A playgroup is a room full of busy children... busy learning, playing, meeting other children, making friends, trying out new ideas, making discoveries, becoming independent little people... all uder the eye of the watchfull and trained eyes of caring adults.
Macosquin Community Playgroup welcomes all children regardless of religion or background.
FEES?
Thanks to fund raising activities we do not insist on a fee, however, in order to ensure the continued suvival of the group we suggest that a contribution of £2.00 for each morning is appropriate. This should be paid weekly on MONDAY morning or monthly on the first Monday of the month to the group leader or treasurer.
Due to the overheads involved in running a playgroup it is most helpful if payments are kept up to date. The treasurer has a big responsibility and will appreciatre your co-operation. Outings and activities may require an extra contribution which we will tell you about in advance.
FUNDED PLACES
Thanks to the pre-school expansion programme there are a number of funded places available. The criteria and an application form will be made available online in the future, however, if you require more details please contact the playgroup.
REGISTRATION FEE
This is a one off joining fee of £5.00 and goes towards paying insurance and membership of NIPPA. Registration is necessary for all children who attend playgroup. A registration form giving details about the child must be filled in to ensure that he/she is covered by insurance.
