Lucy's Adventure One summer's evening, Lucy was walking along the beach when she heard someone calling her name. It was the magical sound of the Mer-people. She was amazed and decided to go under the sea with them. It was wonderful under there. Angel fish glided elegantly past her and dog-fish started to chase the catfish behind a sea-anemone! Suddenly Lucy saw something in the distance. As she swam closer it started to become clearer. It was a mermaid! The one that was calling her. She was the most beautiful thing. "She must be a Princess," thought Lucy. Her hair shone as bright as the sun and her tail glistened like silver. She wore a crown of pearls and she played a golden harp. She beckoned Lucy to follow her, and guided her safely back to the surface. "Farewell, Lucy," she sang. Lucy waved to her . "Goodbye". Shane, P.5 |
