Christmas Surprise

Once upon a time there was a girl called Anna and her little sister called Ellen. She lived in a house in the country. She had always wanted a pony of her own. She had asked her mum and dad before but they said no.
As she got out of bed she went downstairs. Her mummy said, "Would you like some toast." "Yes please", Anna said. Anna ate her toast and went upstairs to get dressed. She put her favourite, bright yellow dress, which had red flowers on it. Anna also put her socks, shoes and her best hat.
She shouted, "Mummy I am ready for school." "Hold on Anna! I am putting your apple and sandwich in your lunch bag. Daddy is going to drive you to school." "What about Ellen," asked Anna. "Ellen can't go to school yet. She's only two."
Anna opened the car door and grabbed her lunchbox then jumped in. Her dad opened the car door and sat down. He started the engine. When he had driven her to school he stopped and opened the door for her.
When she was in school she sat down on her chair. The teacher, Mrs .Mc Cory, was Anna's favourite teacher because she let them play all day because they were only P.1s.
Her best friends were Leanne, Terri, Chloe and Rebecca. "Hey Anna want to play house?" asked Rebecca. "Yes please," said Anna.
A week passed and it was the day before Christmas. "I think Santa is going to bring me Barbies and a teddy bear, but most of all I want a pony."
The teacher stopped in front of Anna. "Now what age are you?" "I'm four years old," replied Anna. "Would you like me to read a book to you?" "No thank you," answered Anna. She went with Rebecca and started to play house.
When it came to lunchtime Anna went home. "Hello," said Leanne "Hello," said Anna. "Your mummy and daddy are away." " Would you like to go to the forest with me to pick berries." "Yes please," said Anna. They set off to the forest. When they got there they started to pick berries. When the basket was full they started to walk back to the house.
Then they realised it was Christmas Eve and Santa was behind them. "Hello Santa," they shouted. "Do you have our presents?" "Yes I do," replied Santa. " I have Leanne's video and sweets and I have Anna's pony and teddy bear and Barbies." The girls jumped with joy.
Anna and Leanne rode back to Anna's house on her new pony. Santa followed them in his sleigh and they all had milk and cookies at Leanne's house. They had a wonderful Christmas.
