Christmas
by Felix P.6
Once upon a time there was a girl called Rebecca who was really kind and liked and got along with everybody. One day she woke up and went outside and the snow was up to her waist. "Oh I am cold," she said and she felt a chill down her back. So she went over to Annie's house. "Let's do some skipping," said Annie. "But how can we with all this snow?" said Rebecca. "Then what do you want to do?" continued Annie. Rebecca replied, "Let's have a snowball fight!"
Rebecca got a big snowball and hit Annie on the head. Then Annie hit Rebecca on the coat. Rebecca said, "I am getting bored, let's do something else". Annie said, "How about exploring that wood?"
When they got to the trees they walked in a couple of steps. They ended up in a different place; all open land and covered in snow. "Where are we?" Rebecca said, "I don't know," said Annie. "Do you think we are at the North Pole?" "Maybe," said Rebecca. They saw a little cottage. "Let's go to that cottage," said Rebecca.
When they got there, it was all covered in Christmas decorations. Rebecca and Annie went into the cottage and saw a lot of little elves with pointy ears and then they saw Santa. They were shivering with excitement. They had butterflies in their tummies. Santa said, "Hello, how are you doing?" They said, "Fine," and he continued, "I know what you want for Christmas because I got your letter. Do you want me to bring you home in the sleigh?" "Yes," they said in excitement. So then they went outside where there was a big shiny sleigh.
When Annie and Rebecca were flying home there were lots of little tiny houses passing underneath them.
Soon they were home in bed. Rebecca thought she wouldn't be able to sleep but in no time at all she nodded off. The next day was Christmas and Rebecca ran down the stairs. "It's Christmas!!!" she shouted. She opened her presents and her favourite one was a Barbie doll.
Then she said, "This is the best Christmas ever!"
