Christmas
by Joseph P.6
One snowy day Connor and I were walking down the road. It was only a few days till Christmas. While we were walking we saw a man in the distance wearing red clothes. As we got closer we discovered that, to our surprise, it was Santa. He said, "Do you want to come in my sleigh?" I said, "It's getting late," but Connor said, "Okay".
So we got into Santa's sleigh and he said to the reindeers, "SNOW!" which made them fly. We flew over the city, which lay under a white blanket of snow. Santa said, "Here's Connor's house!" He got out of the sleigh, hovered in the air and then disappeared down the chimney. He put Connor's presents under the Christmas tree. They were a toy digger, train and blocks. By the time we got to the North Pole we had gone to at least 1000 more houses and Connor was fast asleep.
When we landed, Connor woke up and we met the head elf, Bernard. He was wearing baggy clothes, a big hat and red shoes. He said, "Hello Connor." For the rest of the night the elves showed us the toys they were making.
The next day Santa went to a house he had left out. When he got there the police thought he was stealing so they put him in jail.
Back at the North Pole, the Elf Laser Flying Squad (E.L.F.S.) were getting ready to save Santa. They flew to the prison, tied up the guards, took the keys, opened the cell and let him free. The police surrounded Santa but he told them that he was really Santa and they believed him when he gave them the presents they did not get as children but had always wanted. Santa left Connor and me home then he flew home back to the North Pole.
The head elf Bernard gave Connor and me a magic snowstorm so that when we shook the ball we could go to the North Pole anytime we wanted. So the next day and Connor and I shook the ball and we went to the North Pole and we stayed there till next Christmas.
