Christmas

Once upon a time there a little boy called Jack. It was the day before Christmas Eve and He was walking along in the forest and saw a boy who was building a swing. Jack walked over and asked him, "What is your name?" "My name is Matthew," replied the boy. Jack said, "Do you need help?" "Yes," said Matthew.
When they had finished tying the rope to the seat Matthew climbed the tree and tied it to a big branch. When he got back down the tree Jack got the first go. When he got off the swing he said, "That was wonderful."
When they had finished playing on the swing Matthew asked Jack, "Do you want to go to my house?" Jack said, "I will run home and ask my mum."
When Jack got back to his house and asked his mum if he could go to the new boy's house. She said, "Yes, but come back at 7 0' clock." Jack shouted, "OK Mum!"
Jack ran into the forest. He could not see Matthew. He started to shout, "MATTHEW! MATTHEW!" Then he heard a voice calling from up above him, "I'm up here in the tree!"
When Jack got down they went to Matthew's house where they played football and basketball. Matthew's mum made them sausage rolls, chips and beans for their dinner. When Jack was walking though the forest again to go back home he saw Santa flying in the sky.
Jack ran and shouted, "SANTA! SANTA! COME DOWN HERE!" but Santa did not hear Jack. He shouted "SANTA! SANTA! COME DOWN PLEASE! But Santa still did not hear him.
He ran home and said "Mum, mum I just saw Santa." His mum asked, "Whereabouts?" "In the forest," said Jack. His mum said, "You better go to bed now in case he does not give you any toys tomorrow night." "I know mum," said Jack.
He ran up the stairs to his room and put on his pyjamas and went to bed. The next day was Christmas Eve. Jack and his mum went to town to find presents for his family.
By the time they got presents for every one it was lunch time so they went to a restaurant and Jack got sausage rolls, chips and beans and his mum got the same but more. When they had finished eating they went home and wrapped the presents. When he had finished wrapping, Jack went to bed to give Santa time to leave the toys.
When Jack got up the next morning he ran down the stairs and woke his mum and dad and asked them could he go in to see the toys. His mum said, "Yes, go on in."
When Jack walked in and saw a Bob the Builder play table and the Thomas the Tank Engine train set he shouted, "MUM I GOT WHAT I WANTED!" and his mum said, " What is that?" Jack said, "It's a Bob the Builder play table and Thomas the Tank Engine train set and some cars." Even better, when he lifted them up he found a hot wheels track for the cars underneath.
When he had finished looking at and playing with the toys he asked his mum if he could go and ask if Matthew could come to his house "Yes," said Jack's mum. Jack walked to Matthew's house and asked him, "Do you want to come to my house? Matthew said, "Can I bring some cars with me?" "Yes," said Jack.
When they got back to Jack's house they built the hot wheels track. When they had finished playing they put on their coats and ran outside and it started to snow. So they played in the snow for the rest of the day.
