Radio Feile is the first independent radio station in Derry in 30 years and will broadcast 12/24 hours per day from the Calgach Centre from Monday 16th August to Sunday 22nd August.

Radio Feile will have the complete low-down on the festival, with up-to-the-minute information and features on guests, events and topical issues. It will also offer great accessibility, giving local people a real opportunity to influence and contribute to radio programming content, in a way which is not otherwise currently possible.

The programming content will echo that of the Feile itself, with cultural discussion and comedy, film, literature, music, exhibitions, drama, art, politics and sport. The festival's commitment to quality events has attracted leading names from all these fields to engage in performances, workshops and discussions in the city over the past six years.

Overseen by experienced technicians, and staffed by enthusiastic trained volunteers, the station will broadcast city-wide during the festival, with guests so far confirmed including comedians Jeremy Hardy, Kevin McAleer, screenwriter Jimmy McGovern, and DJs Lionrock and Johnny Moy.
