1835 - William T. Matier’s Belfast Directory contains an alphabetical list of gentry, merchants and traders residing in Belfast, an alphabetical list of noblemen and gentlemen residing in the neighbourhood of Belfast and a list classified by trades and professions.
1839 - Matthew Martin’s Belfast Directory contains an alphabetical list of
gentry, merchants, traders, etc., a list of persons classified by trades and professions, a house-to-house list of the principal streets and a list of noblemen and gentry residing in Cos. Antrim and Down.
1841 - Martin’s Belfast Directory of Antrim, Ballymena, Belfast, Carrickfergus, Crumlin and Lisburn.

1850 - James Alexander Henderson’s Belfast Directory contains an alphabetical list of nobility and gentry in and around Belfast, a street list of the principal houses in the principal streets, an alphabetical list of gentry, merchants and traders and a lists of persons classified by trades. It includes the suburbs of Ballymacarrett, Holywood, Whiteabbey and Whitehouse.
