Larne Cricket Club is based in County Antrim, Northern Ireland and in 2004 will run five Saturday teams, one Midweek Social XI and Three Junior Teams.
The First XI finished one place above the relegation spot in their first season in Section 2, avoiding the big drop with a win in the last game of the season. In 2004 they will continue to play in Division One, Section Two of the Northern Cricket Union of Ireland.
The captain for 2004 will be Trevor Dempsey after Jonathan Craig stood down due to work commitments.
The Second XI finished runners up in Division 2, Section 2. In 2004 they will be captained once again by local travel expert and personal friend of Channel 4's Dermot Reeve, Gary Moore.
The Third XI finished in runners up spot in Division 3, Section 2 in their first season in that league. The Third XI captain for the new season will be the well travelled Michael Waterman.
The Fourth XI were the toast of Division 4, Section 1 in 2003 as they went through the season indefeated in the league, winning the league over fierce rivals Armagh. Michael Lyle continues in his capacity as captain in 2004.
In 2004 we are entering a Fifth XI for the first time, with John Hood taking control of this team.
