This is the old Antrim Street station which was established in 1950 after a move from the old war station which was sited at the Magheralave road and Clonavon park.

The Two front line appliance's were Lisburn 1 VIA 9767 and Lisburn 2 VIA 9760 these were Bedford bases WRLs build by W. Alexander's in Mallusk and were state of the art in the 1980's

They replaced the two TK Bedford's MIA 4060 and KIA 4762 in 1984 as the Bedford's had had their day but proved very reliable.
