The Coaches

  • Jean Ferris (Club Coach and Club Leader). Jean founded the Club 20 years ago and works tirelessly on behalf of her "kids". Jean is also a member of NI Sports Acro Committee and a qualified Judge. Jean received a nomination from Belfast City Council for the NI Coach of the Year in 2001.
  • Tommy Magill (Club Coach and tumbling specialist). Tommy has been with the Club for 9 years and also coaches in a Club in Lisburn.
  • Judith Magill (Senior Club Coach). Judith is Tommy's daughter and took up coaching after enjoying a successful career as a gymnast and tumbler. Judith has also got her own Club in Lisburn.
  • Karen O'Hare (Senior Club Coach and Club Secretary). Karen has been a Club member since she was 5 years old and began coaching after a successful career in Sports Acro.
  • Michael Lindsay (Sr) (Assistant Club Coach). Michael joined the Club 8 years ago and is Club fundraising co-ordinator and a qualified Judge. Michael is a member of the Executive Committee of NIAGA and is also responsible for the Club website.
  • Julie Cassidy (Assistant Club Coach) Julie recently retired from active gymnastics in the Club.
  • Adel Doherty (Assistant Club Coach) Adel is still active in Club displays etc.
  • Carole McKenna (Assistant Club Coach) Carol is still active in Club displays etc.
  • Cheyrll Quaile (Assistant Club Coach) Chyrll is still active in competitions and recently competed in the 2002 British National Championships.
  • Andrew O'Hare (Assistant Club Coach) Andrew is still active in competitions and recently competed in the 2002 British National Championships winning a tumbling bronze medal.
