Wednesday, 12th January 2000 Still some of the Limited Edition prints left There are still some of the LIMITED EDITION prints of 'Ormeau' by R. Taylor Carson (ARUA). This original oil of 'Ormeau' was painted in September 1960 by the acclaimed Ulster artist R. Taylor Carson. It commemorates the centenary match, NICC v's MCC and is identical to another painting presented to the MCC during their visit. The artist has kindly agreed to allow prints to be made limited to 250 copies, and he will sign and number each print, which will be approximately 26.5 " x 23.75 " (675mm x 603mm). The print is priced at £ 60 per copy. If required, framing can be arranged with a company which has advised the club on this project. (Frame shown below is for display purposes only on this web site.)
As the club prepares to leave 'Ormeau', this is an opportunity for members to obtain a tangible reminder of the ground, the clubhouse and it's proud history on this site ! To secure your copy you can contact the Secretary / Manager at Ormeau (check Contact section for details if unsure).
