Pre-Season Indoor Nets Sunday, 25th February 2001 Pre-season indoor nets have started again at Campbell College for the Senior Squad. They are being held on a Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. It is intended to continue these sessions right up to the start of the season or until weather permits for outdoor practice. Stephen Dyer (1st Team Captain) would ask that ALL Senior Squad members make every effort to be available for as many of these slots as possible to prepare the Senior teams for what is going to be a tough and very busy season ahead. Cricket dinner a successful evening. Friday, 23rd February 2001 This year's Formal Cricket Dinner was a success although slightly disappointing in the final number attending. That however did not detract away from the quality of the food, up to the usual excellent standards of 'High Society' and the very enjoyable entertainment of the band, 'Hooker'. Both Mark Marais and Stephen Dyer are to be again congratulated for producing a highly enjoyable evening and also for exceeding their financial target for this event. Just think what those extra few bods would mean ! Thanks Boys; roll on the next one ! Dazzler |
