Coaching at North of Ireland Cricket Club is shared between some qualified coaches in the club, the club professional and others who help organise and manage the youth sides.

The two qualified coaches in the club who assist the professional with coaching duties throughout the summer season are:-

Pre-Season Indoor Nets

Pre-season indoor nets have started again at Campbell College for the Senior Squad. They are being held on a Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. It is intended to continue these sessions right up to the start of the season or until weather permits for outdoor practice.

Stephen Dyer (1st Team Captain) would ask that ALL Senior Squad members make every effort to be available for as many of these slots as possible to prepare the Senior teams for what is going to be a tough and very busy season ahead.

Outdoor

Outdoor practice is always at Ormeau. It usually is a mixed serious of sessions ranging from fielding practice to batting and bowling practice including the 'traditional' net practice. The surface we practice on is often, unfortunately in this country, dictated by the weather. There is an all-weather strip at the edge of the square which gets most use throughout the season due to our local conditions. We also have grass practice wickets at the edge of the field which are used later in the season and when the weather permits.
