Eric has been been with the club
for many years having played at various levels within the
club. He was a member of the 1960 Double winning Centenary
team. Has served in other administrative roles for the club
since his playing days.

| Andrew McAskie
Hon Treasurer |
This is Andy's third year as treasurer
for the cricket section, having succeeded David Heaney following
the 1998 season. Has played cricket for the Club for 'a dozen years
at least', spanning all positions in batting line-ups from No. 11
for the 4th XI to opening for the 1st XI (yes, they were very short
that day). Claims his bowling career is on the up, having been reluctantly
granted his second ever over last year (and this one only went for
6 !). Once handed a two year sentence as captain of the 3rds, during
which time 'Captain Callous' gained a reputation for, diplomatic,
uncompromising selection decisions.

Simon Corlett
Club President
Simon is one who needs very little
introduction to anyone in cricket. He has been with the club
for a number of years having distinguished himself as a player
for the club and also at International level with Ireland
over a number of seasons.

Stephen Dyer
1st XI Team Captain
Stephen is entering into his
second year as Captain of the 1st XI after a very successful
start regaining promotion to section 1 in his first year.
Will be keen to impress on his return to the top flight.

Trevor Dalzell
2nd XI Team Captain
Current Captain of the 2nd XI
who has been with the club since 1994. Originally played with
Brigade in the NorthWest before moving to Belfast. Has a coaching
qualification. Trevor also developed and maintains this web
site for the Cricket Section.

Ricky Finlay
Entertaiment
Ricky has been with the club
for a few years and is a welcome addition to the committee.
He is currently Vice Captain of the 2nd XI but has played
regulary for the 1st XI as required.

Philip Black
Youth Teams
A name synonymous
with North seconds. Philip is a tireless
worker within the club and looks after Boys cricket, amongst
other things. He is also a qualified coach to youth level
and assists with coaching in the club.

Neil McCaul
Neil has been
with the club since 1995. He is a wicket keeper / batsman.
Initially played with the seconds but has established himself
as a first team regular last season. He is a very enthusiastic
keeper who is never afraid to enquire about a dismissal !

John Law Co-opted
member
Ex player with North at all levels
who has been with the club for a long number of years. John
has also served in various positions with the NCU including
that of President. He like Eric, was a member of the 1960
Double winning Centenary team.

Brian Fitzgerald Co-opted

Following a career in banking,
Brian undertook the job of Secretary / Manager of the club
for 7 and a half years. Upon his retirement he offered his
services to the Cricket Section to assist with fundraising
and publicity.

Wilfie is another who has been
with the club for many years. He has served in several offices
throughout his time. Former President, Club Hon Secretary,
Rugby Hon Secretary and Cricket Hon Secretary (rugby
and cricket being done at the same time !).
