President's Notes - 2000

As President of North of Ireland Cricket Club I extend to everyone a warm welcome to our official Web Site and would like to take this opportunity of thanking Trevor Dalzell and his team for all their hard work in organising the setting up of our site.

This innovation is typical of the new spirit and quiet determination of the Cricket section to re-establish itself this year at the highest level in the local game.

I would also like to thank Andrew Babington for his comprehensive, indeed 'Hansard' like report on last season and to wish the Club Captain, Stephen Dyer and all the players a successful and enjoyable summer 2000.

Finally may I extend to everyone who would like a game of cricket, at whatever level, a very warm welcome indeed to Ormeau.

Have a nice summer!

Gilbert Paton
President NICC
