CONCERT BANDS

The Music Centre offers invaluable ensemble opportunities for young musicians by providing a two tier structure incorporating open nights, concert performance and senior group representation abroad. Students being taught orchestral/band instruments at the Music Centre are automatically enrolled in a group appropriate to their ability and instrument type and are subject to regular monitoring, culminating in a review at the end of each academic year.

The Senior Concert Band is of full symphonic wind proportion enabling the performance of a wide ranging repertoire including classical, romantic and modern works.
