The South Eastern Music Centre operates a comprehensive teaching and junior group activity programme at each of four locations within the Board's area, offering low grade to advanced instrumental tuition with orchestral and concert band training / performance at junior level. The opportunity exists for students to progress to training, intermediate and senior level group activities, which are carried on at two locations at Ballynahinch and for which main line transport is available.
Each District Music Centre is open during term time, one day per week, from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm for the following activities:-
* Concert Band 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm
* String Orchestra 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm
* Advanced Teaching Service 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm
