In focusing on the goodness of God, let us give thanks to God for:-
· The atoning death of Christ on the cross
· His faithfulness and love to us as individuals
· The blessings of 16 previous missions during which we have seen conversions, children taught God’s word and parents challenged
· Those who support the work of Ballysally CSSM in prayer
· The support of the two local churches, Ballysally Presbyterian and St. Andrew’s Church of Ireland

Today we pray for:-
· God’s guidance in the planning for this year’s mission which will take the theme “You’ve Been Framed”, in which we will the teaching of Christ in the frame
· The work of the “Juniors” (4, 5 & 6 yr olds) under the leadership of Miss Marion Smyth
· The unity, harmony, safety and blessing of the team
· The recruitment of new workers, and the return of those who have been previously
· The need for favourable weather

Today we remember:-
· Mr Wallace Moore as he seeks to lead the team
· Mrs Jane Moore in her role as Associate Leader
· The Parents’ and Friends’ Evening which will be held on Thursday, 26th July 2001.
· The need for fellowship and harmony between team members
· The Rev John Coulter as he brings the morning devotions to the team
· The work of those who lead Scripture Union in the local primary schools, Ballysally and Millburn
· Safety as the team travel to and from the meetings

· The work carried out by our “Adventurers” (7 to 11 yr olds) section under the leadership of Miss Ellen Stewart
· Our birthday service, which will be held on the morning of Friday 27th July 2001
· Miss Agnes Hamilton and those who will help her as they make the necessary arrangements for the catering
· The training and preparation of the team in advance of and during the Mission

· The ongoing work of the local churches:

Youth Worker – Paul Bowman
St Andrews C of I – Rev Jan Hales
Youth Worker – Ian Hanna
· The work of the Sunday Schools and Youth organisations in both churches
· The movement of the Holy Spirit in the Ballysally area resulting in a harvest of souls
· Those in the area who never attend church, that they would be drawn to the House of God
· Those who will be our musicians during the week, and that the choice of music will be appropriate and give glory to God

Today we should devote a period of time to special prayer as we remember:-
· Summer outreach ministries elsewhere (other CSSM Teams, CEF, Faith Mission, SU Camps, UBM and the various Denominational Outreach Teams)
· The need for team members to be prepared, in fellowship with the Lord, and willing to work for and be used by Him
· The need for reaping as well as sowing. Ask God for definite conversions this summer
· The ongoing work of Scripture Union and all those who work in SU Headquarters

· The outreach among the teenagers under the leadership of Paul Bowman
· Team members as they take part in the Sunday services at the local churches
· Safety at the sports afternoon on Wednesday 25th July 2000
· The children who were converted at previous missions, that they would grow in knowledge and faith
· Team members as they seek to befriend the children
