The Holiday Club for 12 years old and up.

The Holiday Club meets only in the evenings, for their own meeting.  The meetings are fairly  informal and are a mixture of thought provoking games, video clips, discussion and talks.  These are followed up by a time of orange and biscuits, giving the leaders an opportunity to get to know the young people and build up relationships with them.  This time also gives the young people an opportunity to further discuss the topic from that night or bring other questions to us on a more personal, one to one basis.

The topics covered in the Holiday Club are designed especially with teenagers in mind, and do prove to be very relevant them.  In the past we have covered: Failure; Temptation; Fear; Peer Pressure; Money; Relationships; Alcohol and Drugs.

Last year we covered "Sin - The Millennium Bug" which discussed: In the beginning; Where it all went wrong; How to make it right; At the end.

The Holiday Club is a very difficult section to work with, and can be very frustrating at times.  However, when you see the young people taking and interest and asking searching questions, you know that it is worthwhile.  It is also rewarding to know that through the work of the Holiday Club several young people have already given their lives to Christ.
